Sure the hype around them right now is huge and there’s been lots of people who didn’t give a crap about them before and probably wouldn’t have given a crap about them if Rollin’ hadn’t blown up the way it did, and these people are coming out of the wood work to say how they’ve always been huge fans and have always thought they would hit big - it’s just a band wagon behaviour but it would happen for pretty much any girl group that blew up under these circumstances with such a heartwarming story. They have public good will on their side and are much more attuned to the 2nd gen era of KPop music where it wasn’t about the absolutely synced dances and over the top performances but rather really catchy songs and point choreo that gets everyone grooving. theyve already got so much on their plate as is. Lastly, brave girls just got popular a few months ago, it doesnt make sense for them to start proceeding with individual activities immidiatley when their image as a group still needs establishing in the eyes of the public. guess history has a way of repeating itself. Secondly, it's interesting you brought up sistar/gsd/exid, when those groups suffered similar criticisms when they were one the rise. part of their likeability comes from how they're percieved as attainable and down to earth.

they sing live and perform their songs with a genuine type of happiness that's not too burdensome or polished. they may not be the most technically skilled (though i could listen to minyoung all day), but they bring out an unsharpened reality of live performances that's reminiscent to that of the 2nd gen. It's as if they were watching an out of this world kpop performance when it was just common kpop perfs for me. I say this opinion is unpopular because looking at people's reaction at comments of their performances on yt, I find that all of the comments I read were amazed with them. Looking at the members individually, they don't have the charisma members of similar ggs have (ie. I watched a lot of their performances to make sure it wasn't a one time thing, but their dancing and singing are kind of underwhelming for me.

BRAVE GIRLS ATLANTA TV

Considering how much they've appeared on tv recently, I feel like the members would proceed to becoming individual tv personalities rather than proceeding with group activities.Īside from their story and how they rose to success, I don't really find anything unique with Brave Girls. Most ggs who had long years of being together had a something unique about them and I dont see anything unique with Brave Girls. But I arrived at this opinion because I am worried about their future as a group. I can totally see why they got famous with Rolling because of its choreography and the song itself. This prevented them from going to the most dreaded disbandment. First off, I am happy that they got famous and had a hit song after many years.
